The circumstances that led to the ill-fated merger of St. Margaret's and IVCH have been spelled out in a letter obtained by WLPO News. In a communication sent to state Rep. Lance Yednock this week, St. Margaret's Health CEO Tim Muntz says maintaining two inpatient hospitals approximately four-and-a-half miles apart was not economically sustainable or feasible.
