Reid Jones named CEO of UAB Medicine

Reid F. Jones has been named CEO of UAB Medicine. Jones, who has been COO of the UAB Health System since the position was created in 2013, assumes the duties of CEO of UAB Medicine as Will Ferniany, Ph.D., takes on the roles of CEO of the UAB Health System/Ascension St. Vincent's alliance, established July 1, and the UAB Health System Authority, formed earlier this year.
